Origen Energy Ltd can provide a range of renewable solutions for residential only developments including solar heating, district heating systems, underfloor heating systems, heat pumps, domestic BER certs and energy consumption analysis.

We see solar heating in conjunction with heat pumps and or condensing oil or gas boilers as an ideal solution for the residential market. Two solar panels on each house would approximately equate to the minimum requirements required to meet part L Which is 10 KW hours per square metre per year derived from renewable energy.

In addition, underfloor heating ties in very well with either heat pumps or condensing oil and gas boilers as the low temperature requirement of underfloor heating means that heat pumps and condensing oil or gas boilers operate at maximum efficiency.
